Things to do in Cosby

CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains - Zipline Tour

Some of the longest ziplines in the Smokies. And on the quieter side of the mountain.

Adventure Distillery Company

UTV tours and a Moonshine Distillery three minutes from the cabins. Sounds risky, but it's a nice spot for a drink with friends whether you are adventurous or not.

Smoky Mountain Outdoor Rafting

This is only one of Hartford's rafting options, but recommended for a professional, safe, and fun adventure. Hartford and whitewater rafting are within 20 minutes of the cabins.

Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, TN

These bustling towns have too many things to do to share here, so we'd suggest taking a look at the following sites for more information.

Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau

Pigeon Forge Visitor Center

Great Smoky Mountain National Park

Cataloochee

This isolated valley is on the quiet North Carolina side and the best place in the national park to see elk and historic framed structures of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Mount Cammerer Lookout Tower

A moderate-strenuous hike located on the quieter-side of the GSMNP and not from the cabins.

Maddron Bald Trailhead

A mile from the cabins awaits a walk in the serenity of the GSMNP. Hike pass the Baxter cabin and earlier homesteads' ruins.

Ramsey Cascades

This is the tallest waterfall in the park, but requires a fairly strenuous hike. Its located about 6 miles from the cabins at the Greenbrier entrance.

Hen Wallows Falls

An easy-moderate hike good for families and the trailhead is only a few miles from the cabins at the Cosby Picnic Area.

Cades Cove

A 11-mile loop drive in the Townsend area of the national park is one of the most beautiful coves and historic heritage sites in the GSMNP.
